Q: When I turn it on, the movable part (like a flat circular plate) just does not turn. Could it be stuck? What can I do?

It is BRAUN MP50 COMPACT CITRUS JUICER

I can hear the motor run when I turn it on, but there is no movement.

A: it sounds like the (circular plate) is not engaged to the motor. try tapping down on it with a wooden handle.

Sell that one on eBay, buy a working one on eBay, call the manufacturer and ask them what the trouble is, or wait for someone on here that has that kind of a juicer to tell you what the problem is. Could be short circuit or just the motor is worn out or seized from sitting so long.
