Can an electric razor be brought onto a plane in carry-on luggage?
[2006-12-24 18:23:02]

I know safety (cartridge) razors are allowed, so I can't imagine that electric razors wouldn't be since they aren't even really as sharp as a safety razor, but I just wanted to ask someone who has carried on recently (I just got an electric) to confirm

I have taken an electric razor on board for many years now and never had a problem. You should not have anything to worry about. Go ahead and take the razor with you.

Can an electric razor be brought onto carry-on luggage, now ...

Probably not! In India he is not? N allowed to carry knives in the cabin. Is it not? Insurance on the current? Nicos, although I doubt allow it?. I think there are similar lawsuits in the United States, Great Britain? -? Ning Nl Fl? Regularly, or sharp objects? Walls, shoes (thanks to Mr. Reid, the shoe bomber), and now the security? a? n m? s strong. Germany has just been warned to expect a terrorist attack in Mumbai late style year or in January? And you know what? Damn terrorists? Under management to one of these explosive materials sneak in avi? N! therefore not lead to f?, ning? No sharp object in his carry-on baggage. Delay? Be gert? Boarding unn? IST.

Travel Router from Belkin

Before you set off on holiday or away for a work trip, you need to make sure you have all of your clothing and protective essentials. Then there’s your electrical goods, you’ll need a shaver, your phone, maybe your touchscreen tablet too, and of course all the wires and plugs that keep them going too. You don’t have to worry about internet access though right?

Maybe you do. Not all hotels offer it as standard in their rooms. You may be forced to check your emails on a ten year old PC that still uses 56k dial up, face the charges of using your 3G network abroad, or worse still you could be without access completely during your entire trip.

I know going away is generally about relaxing, but who can relax without a good tweet or status update these days! Well you’ve no doubt already packed some travel plugs, so why not protect yourself against internet woes and pack a travel router too.

Belkin’s new travel router is perfect for popping into your suitcase. It’s really compact and would easily fit in your carry on luggage is you were worried about losing your suitcase at customs.

I know they're allowed in the past, but with the recent terror on airplanes last week, is it still allowed?

Probably not! In India, we are not allowed to carry razors to the cabin. Not sure about the electronic ones, though I doubt I will be allowed to. I think, similar procedures exist in US, UK - no liquid, no sharp objects, shoes etc out...
