Electric Razors Leave Stubble
Q: I have really sensitive skin so I don't like to shave with a conventional razor. I also like the look of stubble. I was wondering if anyone knew of any reputable electric razors that will leave a small amount of stubble on my face. Perhaps one with
A: The first answer is correct, I've never had an electric that could begin to get as close as a blade. If you really like stubble try this, I shaved off a months worth of beard today using electric hair clippers worked great.
Electric razors leave a short, even layer of stubble on your face. They don't leave you baby smooth and clean like a razor.
Is it acceptable to have electric-left stubble on your face? Does it look clean if you electric shave enough?
All you ask from an electric shaver is for the closest shave possible. But one of the problems with some shavers is that they leave stubble. Another thing you want is for it to be easy to clean.
I’ve had my Norelco electric shaver for over 25 years and it still works. Maybe it has lasted so long is because I use it only an average of once per week. I hardly clean it like I should but that doesn’t seem to have affected its performance. My shaver didn’t give the smoothest shave, but it was close enough that stubble wasn’t noticeable for a few hours.
I’ve never gone back to using a disposable razor. I remember having to buy and use shaving cream. My skin is very thin and I would easily cut myself. Back in those days I was younger and had to navigate around the occasional pimple.
Although I’ve know my electric shaver is old and there are better models these days such as the Braun electric shaver , I never thought of buying a new one. Maybe because I was never aware of how these newer shavers are self cleaning and they have a vibrating head to help get a closer cleaner shave. The old model I have had three rotary heads which was probably a clever revolutionary design in those days and probably still is today.
...I like to have a 5-o'clock shadow, and im looking for an electric razor that is adjustable so not all the hair is removed. Beard trimmers are a little tricky on the neck, so im looking for an electric razor that does the same. Any thoughts?
