Philips Norelco arcitec 1050 & 1060 Men's Shaver

RQ1050CC: Adds a cleaning machine. The "CC" stands for "Clean & Charge"--Jet Clean system automatically cleans shaver. I've heard negative things about the Philips cleaning machines. Did they make improvements to the machines for the arcitec line? As mentioned, you can rinse the shaver under the faucet so the machine may be unnecessary.
