The Brown and Gold opened the final day with an 11th place effort in the 200 medley relay. The team of Austin Hunter (LaCrescent, Minn./La Crescent H.S.), Trevor Trimpe (New Palestine, Ind./Connersville H.S.), Tate Wegehaupt (Tigard,Ore./Tigard H.S.), and Kyle Braun (McHenry, Ill./West H.S.) turned in a time of 1:39.68.
Wegehaupt led Valpo individually in the 200 breaststroke with a 10th place with a timeof 2:10.03, the third best mark in school history. He also had the team’s best finish in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:03.58.
Braun posted an 11th place finish in the 100 freestyle, touching the wall in 48.40 seconds.
