Q: Can I use a 16.4oz Propane Cylinder for a basic walmart turkey fryer? I want to fry the turkey at the beach but dont want to transport gas home...
A: It wont likely work very well on those small bottles. If you look at the rating plate on the fryer you will see the btu rating of the burner. If it is 20,000 btu's or smaller you might get away with those little bottles. If it is something like 40,000
after the day of fishing they load up there boat and head to walmart or wherever for weigh in how do the fish get back.....by tanker, maybe? or does walmart have a sale on turkey fryers and breading.
that is how most tournaments are but you watch
Recently picked up this Walmart special turkey fryer rig so I could move my brewing out of the kitchen. Functionally its great. Burns hot, and gets the boil rolling quickly. The problem is the 1/4" of soot that it leaves on my kettle. I know that it is due to burning too rich, just can't figure out how to remedy it. Ive done extensive googling and haven't found my answer yet. I have dismantled the burner, cleaned it, smoothed any burrs, the orifice is clean, and I'm running the air wide open. Even gone as far as plugging 1/2 of the holes in the burner(which helped, but still not a good blue flame.) Anyone have another suggestion?
For many, the day after Thanksgiving means waking up early and braving the crowds of Black Friday bargain hunters. But this year, shoppers will be able to start their holiday shopping even sooner as many stores will open doors Thursday evening.
Destin WalMart store manager Joey McKinstry says workers are already stocking up the store and clearing aisles for the pallets of deals that will be dropped off this week.
“Some of the hot items are a $188 32-inch flat screen TV and a $199 Xbox with Kinect,” he said. “Customers will start showing up early, and we’ll have lines for the real popular items.”
