Q: I would like to buy a curling iron that is not expensive- preferably under $50. I heard Hot Tools is pretty good and Braun Cordless doesn't look so bad either.
Your thoughts?
Thanks :-)
A: i have used a lot of curling irons, and my favorite is my Hot Tools one, its the best for the money. But the best results i ever got was when i curled my hair with my Amica straightner, but its a 120 dollar straightner.
i tried looking for a REVLON one, but turns out u cant get it easily in singapore. my other options are braun, roweta, phillips ( my friend says the phillips hair straightener is bad), panasonic and some others.
Have you ever been on the move and wished to touch up a few curls in your hair? Fine, it is absolutely possible to do that. You surely do not always have the opportunity to bear a curling iron around and hook it up just anywhere to do your hair, however, with a butane curling iron the possibilities are entirely different.
This kind of curling iron is so easy and convenient to use, that you can touch up your look almost anywhere. There are different manufacturers of butane curling irons to choose from. The Braun butane curling iron is one possibility. This brand name is highly recognized for manufacturing a multitude of items. If you have had experience with Braun items then you may go for this model of curling iron according to brand reliability.
Yet another renowned brand name is the Conair butane curling iron. Conair traditionally manufactures curling irons and various other cosmetic products. You may be more acquainted with this specific brand because of this reason. In either case, you certainly will spend around equal amount of cash for each brand of butane curling iron.
...DEAR JAN: I spoke to a Sacramento retailer that specializes in styling tools and was told that, yes, it's harder to find cordless curlers with large barrels.
I did find two Conair products at ULTA the Pro Cordless 3/4-inch curling iron (with a butane cartridge) for $19.99 and the Infiniti 1-inch Tourmaline Ceramic Styling Brush (with cord) for $26.99. The Pro has a smaller barrel but is cordless vs. a larger brush with a cord. There are ULTA stores in Sparks and Reno. One other option is the Helen of Troy chrome curling iron. It has a 1 \-inch barrel and operates on a pilot light. It's currently on sale for $9.20 (regularly $19.95) at Amazon.com.
Butane cartridges are sold in packs of two for $5.99 at Folica.com.
DEAR SHOPPING: I have been looking for a perfume that I love, Fendi eau de parfum. I have allergies and it seems to work better than anything I have tried. Do you know where I can purchase it?
-Betty, Elk Grove, Calif.
DEAR BETTY: Sephora says they carry the Fendi fragrance in the gold bottle. There's even a gift set for the holidays. Just make sure it's Fendi and not Fan di Fendi, which looks very similar.
I know Braun makes them overseas but all the internet shops do not post the butane cartridges to Australia

It continues to sell to the professional hairstyling industry. Hair appliances made up about half its |
