I was offered Greinke/R. Braun for Miguel Cabrera?
[2010-06-12 20:52:10]

Q: My team

H/AB R HR RBI SB AVG OPS
C Rod Barajas

1B Prince Fielder

2B Maicer Izturis

3B Mark Reynolds

SS Elvis Andrus

OF Jayson Werth

A: I would do it, you have Fielder at 1B, and he'll come around, your OF is a bit weak, and Braun is just as good as Miggy, and he'll come around too..then throw in Greinke..jump on it

Do it man. Miguel Cabrera is a great player but you would be receiving a BEAST in Ryan Braun.
You also need major help in SP, and having the reigning cy young winner on your team wont hurt. Even though Grienke cant win a game, he will really help

Brew Beat: Braun fired up about Greinke trade

For backup, the Brewers have left-hander Manny Parra, who has been slow to reach his potential and will probably begin the year in relief. The team has also been working this winter to re-sign another lefty, Chris Capuano, who looked good last season after returning from his second career Tommy John surgery. With Greinke in the fold, the Brewers can continue their cautious approach with starting pitching prospects like Mark Rogers, Amaury Rivas and Wily Peralta.  The  big-league group isn't as star-studded as the Phillies' top four of Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Roy Oswalt and Cole Hamels, and the Brewers' foursome doesn't have World Series rings like the Giants' Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, Jonathan Sanchez and Madison Bumgarner. But it has Braun more than a bit excited for the start of 2011.  "There's no doubt that we're far better heading into the season than we have been in any of my five years with the team," Braun said. Turkey Weekend Thanks

First, let me start by wishing you and yours a Happy Holiday Season.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays of the entire year, mostly due to Turkey and football, but this year was extra special because I met up with my family in Las Vegas.  Normally, Vegas would not be the first place you think of for family get togethers, but it ended up being a very special holiday weekend.  Being so removed from the things I am used to, namely this blog and the Brewers, helped me gain a little more perspective.  It also helped me to make a clean break from the season that was, and prepare myself for the season that will be.

Sometimes you have to take a step back from the usual routine in order to appreciate all of the things you have.  This weekend with my family was a great opportunity for me to forego the present (free agency, Prince, and the MVP) and focus on the past 11 months of this year.  So, as I sat in my super swanky hotel room, I came up with a list of 5 things that I am truly thankful for in 2011.

Rate this trade,,I give up Braun/Jorge De la rosa I get Rollins/Greinke?
[2010-06-28 16:17:25]

My Of will now be..Crawford,Austin Jackson,Jose Bautista
util-Youkilas
Inf Konerko,Cano,Beltre and replacing Orlando Cabrera with newly acquired Rollins
My top 3 pitchers are M.Latos,J.Vargas,H.kuroda with Haren/Max

For your team, I think you gain more in SP stats than you lose with Braun taking away his HR/RBI. SB will go to Rollins and Avg and Runs will be about even.
Greinke gives amazing ERA/WHIP/K compared to the WW and to your current lineup and should
