Electric Razor Sensitive Skin
I have heard that the Norelco 8894XL and 9195XL are good but I can't find them anywhere. If you have any other suggestions about a good razor I would like to hear about it.
I have very sensitive skin and I am prone to ingrown hairs. Of the electric razors I have tried the one that caused the least irritation was a Panasonic wet/dry used wet with shaving cream. I don’t have the latest model so I cannot speak for it. I felt mine did not shave close enough so I would go over my face with a blade against the grain. My face already was wet with shaving gel. This produced less irritation than using a blade in both directions. But after I started using a Power Mach III I stopped using the Panasonic. Recently I purchased a Fusion. I accidentally bought the regular Fusion and did not discover it was not the Power version till I had cut open the package. So, I could not return it. I cannot speak for the Power Fusion but the regular delivers a totally close and comfortable shave and the blade lasts for almost two weeks. I had hesitated to buy a Fusion because 5 blades seemed overkill and the price of the blades was so high, but the blades turn out costing less than a Mach III’s which need replaced more frequently and the shave is so much better, than even the Power Mach III. I don’t see how the Power Fusion could get any better. A good shave cream or gel is essential. Trader Joe’s Honey Mango with Aloe and Vitamin E is the best I have used, and I have tried most of the costly department store brands.
I need to get my dad a new razor but he has massively sensitive skin around his chin and neck. It needs to be electric because he's disabled and finds them easier to use.
Is there one that i can get that wont irritate his skin and where
