How do I get the power to work on a Braun epilator?

Q: The newest addition. It has a lead and a power plug thing but when I switch the button on the shaver the light doesn't come on and it doesn't work. I've never used one before?

A: you might have to charge it first, so that it will work without keeping it plugged in..
mine is a phillips,has built in batteries, instructions say you have to charge the appliance for 8 hours

State: Saginaw Valley downs Wayne State to forge five-way tie atop GLIAC
